Halloween Chocolate Bark

This is the easiest, most delicious and impressive Halloween treat! It is always a hit with both kids and adults. You can use either semi sweet, milk or dark chocolate for the base and white chocolate for the colors you choose to add on top. I got some Halloween sprinkles and gold spray to put on top but you can customize it any way you like.

Ingredients:

  • 1 11 oz bag Semi sweet or dark chocolate
  • 1 11 oz bag of white chocolate, split into 3 bowls (depends on the amount of colors you are adding)
  • Food coloring ( I prefer the gel)
  • Sprinkles or candy of your choice

Directions:

  • In a microwave safe bowl, melt your semi sweet or dark chocolate in 30 second intervals, mixing in between. When chocolate is smooth remove and continue with white chocolate ( you have to move fairly quickly, as the chocolate hardens as it cools)
  • Once you have all your bowls smooth and melted, add desired food coloring to the bowls of white chocolate and stir to get the desired shade. I love the combination of purple, orange and green with the dark chocolate.
  • Pour melted semi sweet or dark chocolate on a lined baking sheet. Smooth into a thin layer with a spatula.
  • Pour the colored chocolate, one at a time. Using a toothpick, swirls the colors into the chocolate, creating a marble effect. Add desired toppings.
  • Place bark in the fridge for 30 minutes so that the chocolate sets and is easier to break. break into pieces with your hands and store in an airtight container
  • Enjoy!
